Crosshall Cross
The area where the cross stands is known as Headrigs, receiving its name in commemoration of a great battle that was fought there.
Local tradition states that the cross marks the spot where a governor of Hume castle was killed in a skirmish, however as the cross is unmarked the purpose of the cross is somewhat a local mystery.
